Charlie Brooker has been a very entertaining and influential inspiration. From discovering Screenwipe late at night on BBC 4’s infancy, reading his acerbic articles in The Guardian, the eerily prophetic Nathan Barley with Chris Morris all the way through to his excellent dark dramatic writing on Deadset and Black Mirror.
Although arguably a bit toxic in his outlook on the world, he so often makes such pertinent and pleasurable scathing points. Its so nice that he is finally getting the recognition as a comedic social commentator and superb writer.
